Southeast Asian Games organizers cancelled windsurfing events scheduled to take place at Subic Bay Yacht Club on Monday due to bad weather.
Organizers said that the windsurfing activities will be postponed to later days when weather is cleared from the typhoon.
Typhoon Tisoy is expected to make landfall on Monday night or early Tuesday.
State weather bureau PAGASA says that “frequent to continuous heavy rains” will be experienced in Metro Manila, Bicol, Calabarzon, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, and Bulacan.
Signal no.2 was raised in Catanduanes, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar.
