Ayala’s brand story unifies to One Ayala, to launch in Dubai this November

Ayala, one of the most prominent brands in the Philippines in various industries, has been in the business of transforming industries and challenging the status quo to bring game changing innovations here in the Philippines and abroad since 1834.

When Filipinos hear the term ‘Ayala’ in the UAE, they easily associate it with visual images of AyalaLand’s strong arm in the real estate market, with Bank of the Philippine Island’s 166-year run in the financial industry, GCash’s innovative platform of digitizing payments and remittance systems, APEC Schools’ vision towards preparing tomorrow’s future leaders, AC Health’s drive to promote better healthcare for the masses, and more.

This month, the Ayala Group of Companies including Ayala Land, Ayala Corp., BPI, GCash, APEC Schools, AC Health, and more will come together for the 2nd time in the region as it thrusts itself towards a new vision to unify their brand identity with the introduction of One AYALA in Dubai this Saturday, November 16, 6;00 pm at the Hotel Swissotel Al Ghurair.

Umbrella group of powerhouse companies

The Ayala-led initiative brings together the Philippines’ industry leaders in real estate development, banking, telecommunications, health, and education under one unified umbrella group. One AYALA aims to empower overseas Filipino workers to provide them ease of access on products and services that will both serve their own needs while abroad, and at same time, fulfill the necessities of their families back home in the Philippines.

“As a group, Ayala aims to meet the Filipinos’ evolving demands by providing practical solutions that balance quality and affordability. We have ventured into areas that touch on the basic needs of Filipinos—from building sustainable communities throughout the country, to widening access to financial services, improving connectivity, affordable healthcare and education, providing clean potable water, and expanding beyond our shores to cater to the needs of a globalized economy,” said the group in a statement.

Ayala will also have a booth as a major sponsor at the upcoming Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Day in Dubai the day prior, November 15, where the public can win exciting prizes and giveaways.

Witness the transformation

The companies under Ayala align themselves with the objective of the mother company to create avenues to better meet the needs of the Filipinos worldwide.

“Our emerging businesses will take on a unified brand identity, where they establish a clear connection to Ayala, while having the space to grow as they become industry leaders in their own right. They have been renamed AC—AC Energy, AC Infra, AC Health, AC Education, and AC Industrials. Collectively, they will further drive innovation, synergy and dynamism for the Ayala group,” said the company in a statement.

John Philip Orbeta, Ayala Corporation’s Chief Human Resources Officer and Group Head for Corporate Resources, will be the Keynote Speaker for the event as he will lead the One Ayala Team to connect with Filipinos in Dubai.

He will be joined by Manuel Arbues II, Ayala Land International Sales, Inc.’s Regional Head for North America (East Coast) and the Middle East and Africa; Ruel Carlos Ruiz, BPI Representative Office’s Managing Director in Dubai; and Julie Anne Abalos, GCash’s Assistant Vice President and International Remittance Head.
