A prank turned bad after a drunk man in Davao City set his drinking buddy on fire when the latter fell asleep.
The man, a cousin of the victim, had a drinking session together with the victim.
The suspect tried to wake the victim up by setting coconut leaves and plastics on fire. However the victim was so deeply asleep that he did not get up until the fire started to burn his body.
The victim sustained severe burns on his back and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Police authorities told ABS-CBN News no charges have been filed yet against the suspect. (TN)
