A 32-year-old Nigerian was accused of luring two women to see him using a dating application before raping them in separate instances.
The man was sentenced to a one year imprisonment last May for raping a 53-year-old Serbian woman.
Last Tuesday, the man was brought to the Dubai Court of First Instance to face another case after he was accused of raping a Ukranian woman five times, a report by Gulf News said.
The abuses happened in one week, the report said.
Quoting official records, the report said that the man used a dating application to lure them into his apartment in January 2019.
The Ukrainian victim said they met in a café in Dubai Marina before she was convinced to go to his apartment in Al Barsha.
The victim said she was forced to go with the man after she was threatened with a syringe.
Upon arriving at the apartment, the woman said the man threatened her with a knife and raped her.
She said no one heard her shouting for help because the music in the room was loud.
The woman said the man only allowed her to leave after raping her four times.
The victim sought help from the Al Barsha police station.
The man was charged with rape and kidnapping. He denied the woman’s accusations against him.
