Ras Al Khaimah: A woman from another Gulf country is facing charges of beating the mother of her ex-husband during his wedding on the grounds she was behind her divorce.
The woman denied the charges in court in Ras Al Khaimah but the victim’s daughters presented a footage showing their mother was assaulted and beaten up just outside the wedding hall.
The woman was also charged of sending insulting words to the victim’s mobile phone and threatening that she would never let her see her grandchildren again.
Newspapers said the judge postponed session for sentence to Monday.
