Scores of stray dogs attacked and killed a little Saudi boy while he was playing in front of his house in the Gulf Kingdom.
The boy’s father reported his absence to the police after the child was late in coming back home at night this week.
Police searching for the kid found his body near his house in the northern town of Arar with dog bites all over the body, according to local newspapers.
“We were worried after my son did not return home that night… we told the police who found him lying dead after he was attacked by stray dogs,” his father said.
Newspapers said police have opened a probe into the incident and that they have mounted a campaign to destroy dogs in the neighborhood.
