Manila Mayor Isko Moreno asked for the help of city hall employees to help him in changing the country’s capital in the next three years.
Moreno insisted that he cannot do it alone.
“Para mapag tagumpayan natin ang layunin natin na maisaayos ang Maynila, tulungan po ninyo ako. Nagpapakababang loob po ako sa inyo,” Moreno said in a speech.
He also asked the help of the employees to change the ‘corrupt’ image of city hall employees.
“Hindi natin masisi ang ilan kung gaano tayo tignan ng mababa dahil sa tayo’y empleyado ng city hall. Sa mga panahon na lumipas, may mga napabalita sa kanila. Eh alam niyo naman usong uso ang tsismis,” he said.
Moreno assured that he would do everything to avoid salary delays.
He also said that employees can also wear outfits in any color.
