The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), on the occasion of its 121st Founding Anniversary of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) held at the Bulwagang Apolinario Mabini on June 26, 2019 gave commendations to various officals and staff of foreign missions abroad.
Among them was Sheila Mupas of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, who was bestowed the Assistance to Nationals Award in the individual category. The Assistance to Nationals section handles cases of overseas Filipino workers in distressed.
The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Dubai, for its part, has once again received accolades with its team having been awarded the Best in Assistance to Nationals in 2018.
Another PCG staff, Jennifer Pimentel was also commended for efforts to streamline the database and procedures relative to the consulate’s Civil Registration section.
Also given the Assistance to Nationals Award in the individual category was Maribelle Facundo of Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
