Passenger hiding grenade arrested at NAIA

Authorities arrested a passenger hiding a grenade in his bag at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 on Friday.

Deogracias Pulmano was intercepted after authorities saw through baggage scanning that there was a grenade inside his backpack.

NAIA management immediately called for a K-9 unit which confirmed that there was really a grenade in Pulmano’s bag.

Pulmano was charged with illegal possession of explosives as he failed to present documents for the grenade.

Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group sa NAIA took custody of him.
