DUBAI: The 36-kilometer, Php350-billion Mega Manila Subway which will run from Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will boost property values in the areas around its 15 stations by three-folds, said Manny Arbues II, Ayala Land International regional head for North America and the Middle East.
“We foresee that the value of properties na dadaanan ng Mega Manila Subway, specifically dun sa mga stations will appreciate by about three times,” Arbues told The Filipino Times.
“Bakit? Kasi people will converge dun sa mga stations and more businesses will be stimulated,” he said.
Arbues said there are at least two stations where Ayala has properties – Vertis North in the Trinoma area and Arca South; all of which are in the pre-selling stage undergoing different stages of construction and completion.
The project broke ground on Feb. 27, 2019. It will snake through Quezon City, Pasig, Makati, Taguig and Pasay. It is scheduled to be partially operatonal in 2022 and fully completed in 2025.
