The Al Qana project, a waterfront entertainment and dining hub is set to open in the heart of Abu Dhabi by the fourth quarter of 2020.
Project developer BII said in a statement that the development, situated on the historic natural Khor Al Maqta, overlaps in seven districts and stretches over 2.4km of waterfront walkways.
The project will include waterside eateries, a cinema, Middle East’s “largest” aquarium, a yacht marina, a “first-of-its-kind wellness hub”, a “first to the UAE” VR Park, kids’ action zone, outdoor skate park and landscaped community spaces.
Stuart Gissing, general manager of Al Qana, said “major” regional and international brands related to food and beverage, leisure and entertainment are already eyeing to be part of “the city’s next waterfront lifestyle hub.”
Al Qana will be close to a number of the capital’s most famous landmark such as such as Warner Bros, Ferrari World and Louvre Abu Dhabi.
