Duty Free Philippines on Wednesday, January 23, announced that it is set to open new stores in Palawan and Bohol this year.
In a briefing, Duty Free Philippines Corporation (DFPC) Chief Operating Officer Vicente Angala said that the store in Bohol will be located at the newly opened Bohol-Panglao International Airport which is also dubbed as the country’s first eco-airport, reported Rappler.
Angala said that the location of the store at the Bohol-Panglao International Airport will be finalized once the Department of Transportation (DOTr) turns the operation of the airport over to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
The chief operating officer added that aside from the new stores, the first ever Duty Free store in the country near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport will also get an upgrade.
