RTA opens six new bus routes in Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) opened six new bus routes for residents of Dubai to ease their transport experience.

In a statement, RTA said that the new routes seek to strengthen the public bus network within and to encourage more residents to use public transport.

Three new bus routes were opened and will operate on a daily basis. These are as follows:
Route E411: Etisalat Metro Station-Ajman
Route F02: Etisalat Metro Station-Muhaisinah 4
Route 50: International City Dragon Mart- Al Khail Gate 1 via Silicon Oasis, The Dubai Mall and Business Bay

Meanwhile, three new bus routes were also opened which will only operate on Fridays:
Route 11B: Rashidiya MS-Al Awir Bus Terminus
Route 34 : Etisalat MS-Al Brayan Labour Camp Al Khawaneej 2 via Al Qusais Bus Station
Route 56: DANUBE Metro Station – DWC Staff Village.

Adel Shakeri, Director of Planning & Business Development, Public Transport Agency said: “The Public Transport Agency is always keen to expand and develop the bus line network, in the Emirate of Dubai and the bus network linking Dubai with other emirates.”
