A minor earthquake was reported in the UAE at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) said.
According to NCM, the magnitude 2.1 earthquake was felt in East Masafi, which is at the base of the Hajar Mountains, straddling the border of the Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah emirates.
The earthquake, however, did not result in any damages.
