Duty Free Philippines Corp. (DFPC) is set to open a luxury shop at the SM Mall of Asia this November, offering shoppers high-end retail brands.
In a statement, DFPC chief operating officer Vico Angala said that the multi-level 3,600-square meter Luxe Duty Free store will feature international luxury fashion brands including fragrance and cosmetic products.
The shops “will carry a wide selection of high end imported goods and retail mix that will capture brands across all spectrums – from luxury designer labels like Bally and Ferragamo to mid-priced fashion labels like Coach and Michael Kors.”
Other brands to be featured in the luxury shop include Longchamp, Kate Spade, Chanel, Estee Lauder, La Mer, La Prairie, Clarins, Mac, Dior, Lancome, Laneige, Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Sulwhasoo, and Shiseido, among many others.
“This new upscale shopping environment will set a standard for the affluent market especially in Southeast Asian countries,” Angala said.
Earlier, DFPC also opened a bigger store at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
DFPC is a state-run corporation which serves as a go-to place for many overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) when it comes to pasalubong for their loved ones. Their stores are located in different airports, seaports, and some hotels in the country.
“When it comes to homecoming gifts or pasalubong, Duty Free Philippines strives to still be the place to shop,” DFPC said.
