The Dubai International Airport is set to welcome its one billionth passenger this year.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the airport has seen a steady increase of passengers every year since it first operated.
In 2017, nearly 90 million passengers passed through Dubai airport making it the world’s busiest hub for international passengers, according to Airports Council International.
