Temperature in UAE to cool down this August

The UAE has been experiencing hot weather these past few months with temperature peaking at around 50 degrees Celsius, but that will soon come to an end as cooler days are expected to come by the end of this month.

Astronomers have said that the Suhail star or the Lambda Velorum in the constellation Vela will be appearing in the skies around August 20-24, according to local reports.

Suhail star is the third brightest star in its constellation and the 64th brightest in the night sky. It marks the end of summer in the Arab region, meaning cooler days will be approaching.

Meanwhile, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced on Twitter that weather across the UAE will be hot and hazy at times.

They also said that there is a possibility that some areas might experience cloudy weather ahead.

There will also be light to moderate winds that can cause blowing dust over exposed areas in the country, as per NCM.

The sea current in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea is expected to be slight to moderate.
