Snapchat users in UAE must be extra careful with their accounts, says Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).
The UAE TRA warned against a circulating phishing scheme that tricks people to give their password away.
Users may receive a message saying they need to verify their account and that they’re required to provide their username, phone number and password. “Don’t respond. Don’t share it and click on it,” TRA advised on its Twitter account.
