A 25-year-old woman who used to work as a waitress at a hotel in Sharjah took her own life after she lost her job.
The Moroccan woman hanged herself from the ceiling of her boyfriend’s apartment in Abu Shagara, reported Khaleej Times.
The woman suffered from severe depression, the report said.
Authorities immediately went to the apartment after they received notification about the incident.
The body of the Moroccan woman was then sent to a forensic lab for autopsy.
The police cleared her boyfriend as possible suspect, but he was apprehended for alcohol consumption.
He said his girlfriend asked if she can move in with him since she used to stay at the hotel’s accommodation and had nowhere else to go.
