The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced on Twitter that weather across the UAE today, June 17, is expected to be fair in general and hazy at times during daytime.
Over the weekend, the weather bureau warned residents to be aware of blowing dust that caused poor visibility of less than 2000m in several areas in the country.

Today, NCM said in its forecast that there will be moderate winds in general, freshening during daytime, that can cause blowing sand over exposed areas.
Meanwhile, sea condition is seen to be rough, becoming moderate by night, in the Arabian Gulf and moderate, becoming rough at times, in the Oman Sea.
NCM also warned residents to be prepared and to comply with advice issued by authorities due to the continuity of fresh winds and rough sea.

According to a report on Khaleej Times, Dubai’s Jumeira beach has been temporarily closed due to the rough condition of the sea.
NCM also released the expected weather for the coming days.
