Forbes Magazine has hailed the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as one of the most powerful people in the world.
Sheikh Khalifa ranked 43rd in the magazine’s list of “The World’s Most Powerful People”.
“There are nearly 7.5 billion humans on planet Earth, but these 75 men and women make the world turn. Forbes’ annual ranking of The World’s Most Powerful People identifies one person out of every 100 million whose actions mean the most,” Forbes said.
Topping this year’s list is China’s Xi Jinping, who broke the four-year streak of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who placed second this year.
US President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos also occupied notable ranks. Pope Francis, philanthropist Bill Gates, Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, India’s Narendra Modi, and Google’s Larry Page were also on the list.
The story is set to appear in the magazine’s May issue.
