Dubai Police officers were praised by netizens for their quick revert in helping a passenger retrieve a phone left in a cab, all in a span of 20 minutes.
In a Facebook post, cab rider Manmeet Singh praised the hard work and dedication of Dubai Police and narrated the incident.
Singh said he took a cab going to Dubai Airport Terminal 1 to catch a flight to Mumbai, India.
Moments after he was dropped off by the cab driver, Singh realized he left his phone in the vehicle.
With just a little over an hour before his flight, Singh sought the help of Dubai Police officers.
“I met this Dubai police officer outside Dubai Airport Terminal 1 outside departure gate 3. Mr. Ammar Alsaadi who is a smart dashing man with his team and I immediately reported the incident to him,” Singh said in his post.
The cab rider told the officers that he did not now the plate number of the cab, nor the driver’s name, but to his delight, the Dubai Police immediately got in contact with the taxi driver.

“I think Dubai Police is the most effective and efficient police force. I mean just look at the reaction time and I got my phone back in 20 minutes. The officer told me that our government helps each and every person, irrespective of his nationality. Hats off to you #dubaipolice and especially to Mr.Ammar Alsasdi,” Singh’s post read.
