Abu Dhabi Police warned the public of fake posts circulating on social media recruiting non-Emirati persons with high school qualifications.
The General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police said authorities did not publish any content on their official social media accounts regarding the recruitment.
Brigadier Mohammed Saeed Al Kaabi, Director of the Department of Selection and Appointment of Abu Dhabi Police, added they only publish content that have been verified.
“The police are keen to publish advertisements through their social media platforms and the media in case they wish to hire or need to do so”, Al Kaabi said in Arabic.
Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Police Security Department called on the public to avoid posting fake information. The public is also advised to verify information only on official social media handles of the Abu Dhabi Police.
