Pia Wurtzbach gushes about ‘warmth’ of Pinoy fans in Dubai

DUBAI — Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach delighted her Filipino fans when she showed up for a meet-and-greet at The Watch House in Dubai Mall recently as the new face of Philip Stein.

“There’s something about Filipinos that wherever they may be, be it in the Philippines or in another country, their warmth always shines through. Sobrang nakaka-touch” (I’m deeply touched), the Filipino-German stunner told The Filipino Times amid the deafening screams of fans who had flocked to The Watch House to catch a glimpse of her.

Wurtzbach gamely signed autographs and took selfies with fans. She invited them to watch her new movie with Gerald Anderson, “My Perfect You”.

It was Wurtzbach’s second visit to Dubai. She said her Dubai trip this time around is even more memorable because as the new face of Philip Stein watches, she’s excited to promote the brand.

“It’s an amazing brand that I’m so happy and excited to associate myself with. I’ve been using Philip Stein watches for the longest time, since I was 16. Now, not only do I get to wear Philip Stein watches; I’m also their brand ambassador,” Wurtzbach shared.

Wurtzbach says the watch’s dual time feature is her favorite. “Dual time is very useful for me because my family is based in London. This feature allows me to keep track of the local time there so I don’t mistakenly call them in the wee hours of the morning.”

Another thing that Wurtzbach finds remarkable about Philip Stein watches is the Natural Frequency Technology (NFT) embedded in the watch. NFT supposedly works with the earth’s natural frequencies to boost the energy frequencies of the wearer.

“I’m constantly on the go. NFT helps me to focus and relax, and to sleep better so when I wake up I’m really refreshed,” Wurtzbach explained.

Wurtzbach described a Philip Stein woman as somebody who is “modern, travels a lot, fashionable and, at the same time, enjoys a healthy lifestyle.”

“A Philip Stein watch not only looks beautiful on your wrist, but it’s a wellbeing accessory. In today’s world, people are always looking for ways to feel better, to sleep better. Everybody is stressed,” said Will Stein, the brand’s co-founder and president.
