Car crashes into second floor of building after over speeding

A white sedan flew and crashed into the second floor of a building because of over speeding in Santa Ana, California.

According to officials, there were two passengers in the car when it crashed into the building at around 5:30 in the morning.

One passenger was able to get out on his own, while the other one was rescued by the Los Angeles County Urban Search and Rescue teams after an hour and a half.

The car had to be held by a front loader as the rescue teams were removing the passenger because its tail end was hanging from the building’s second floor.

Both the driver and the passenger received minor injuries. A fire that was caused by the crash also started but it was quickly extinguished.

According to police reports, the driver “admitted to using narcotics and will be admitted to a local hospital for observation.”

Authorities said that they will press charges to the driver after he recovers.

The Orange County California Fire Authority and Los Angeles County Urban Search & Rescue teams were able to remove the vehicle on Sunday afternoon, but the crash left a big hole in the building.

The said building has a dental clinic which was fortunately empty at the time of the crash. No other civilian was hurt because of the incident.
