In a post that has gone viral, Facebook user Norman Talimongan on Thursday, Oct. 5, shared that he rode a cab whose driver may or may not be President Rodrigo Duterte.
Photos that accompanied the post showed a man who, indeed, looked like the President with a towel covering his head.
Ten minutes into the ride, Talimongan’s companion whispered to him that the driver looks like Duterte, he said in his post, “So ginawa ko is nilapit ko mukha ko and tiningnan ko yung rear view mirror, Lumaki mata ko sa nakita ko… Confirmed!”
Before his presidency, then Davao Mayor Duterte was known for having roamed the streets with a cab to watch over his city, and give his constituents a safe and free ride back home.
As of today, the post has garnered about 12,000 likes and 6,400 shares.
Whether or not the President has gone back on his Batman-like ways is yet to be confirmed, but for now, you be the judge.
