A pedicab driver returned a lost cellphone to its owner after he dropped it while riding his motorcycle in Mendiola, Manila.
Kryst Bermundo posted in his Facebook account about how he got his phone back because of a pedicab driver named Pacundo.
“Hindi siya nagpasilaw sa pera. May nag-offer na ng malaking halaga para bilihin yung napulot niyang cellphone pero sinabi niya na hintayin muna niya ang may-ari ng one week,” he said in his post.
In an interview with The Filipino Times, Bermundo said that he dropped his mobile phone at 11:30 A.M, September 4. He tried to send a text and begged to return it to him. To his surprise, Pacundo replied and communicated quickly on how he will return the phone. Bermundo got his phone back at 12:30 NN on the same day.
As a reward, Bermundo gave Pacundo a P1,000 to help him have his own student driver’s license.
“Kulang pa yun. Kaya sure na babalikan ko pa sya. Mag-eextend pa ako ng help kapag may time,” he told TFT.
His Facebook post about Pacundo already reached 1,200 likes and 200 shares.

Leaving your phone inside a cab might seem like a lost cause but this Uber driver not only gave it back but also added sweetness to his honesty.
The unnamed Uber driver returned the phone together with flowers and donuts.
The passenger with the Twitter handle @_cklucas shared the sweet surprise on her social media account.
