Overseas Filipino Workers in the UAE can soon have more chances of buying popular and luxury car brands at a lesser price.
Al-Futtaim Automall announced that it will open a new 12,000-square meter super sale site in Dubai next month and offer more than 400 pre-owned car brands.
The new site will display more car units from popular brands such as Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Dodge, Ford, Mitsubishi, Chevrolet, and Jeep, The site will also showcase luxury brands such as BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Volvo, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover and Porsche.
Declan McCluskey, managing director of Automall, said the showroom seeks to streamline options for consumers who plan to buy pre-owned car units.
“Automall is already possibly the biggest seller of used car brand in the UAE with over 1,000 cars on offer across our outlets, and which are also displayed on our website. But with this new location, we will be able to offer an even bigger and better choice to our customers,” McCluskey said in a statement.
He said the company expects a 10 per cent increase in demand for used cars.
Between 2015 and 2016, the company saw a three-percent rise in pre-owned car sales, McCluskey added.
Automall said it resells cars that are under five years old and have ran less than 75,000 kilometers. The company also conducts a 99-point check process to ensure the quality of the pre-owned cars.
