An Emirati man met an untimely death after a traffic accident in Ras Al Khaimah Wednesday.
The 21-year old driver lost control of the wheel and steered off road before falling off a cliff, according to reports.
In response to the accident, traffic police, paramedics, ambulances, and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the site of the crash.
Sustaining severe injuries from the fall, the young man later died.
The victim’s corpse was sent to a hospital morgue for burial by his relatives.
Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Humaidi, director general of the central operations room, RAK Police, urged motorists to follow traffic safety rules and regulations to prevent such accident from happening again.
