Sharjah-based travel agency plans Ph expansion

Cozmo Travel, which launched five years ago, has opened its 27th branch, with plans to open one in the Philippines.
At the ribbon cutting ceremony of their newest branch in Satwa, Jamal Abdulnazar, CEO, said the company owes a lot of its success to its huge Filipino workforce.

Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes graced the event. “I wanted to show him that our company allows Filipino to grow with us in terms of their respective professional careers,” Abdulnazar said.

“Filipinos are close to our hearts. Twenty percent of our workforce are Filipinos and we are planning to expand to the Philippines. I can say that Filipinos are the best workforce,” he added.

Cozmo Travel is currently headquartered in Sharjah, the footprint of Cozmo Travel covers Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and India.

Accredited by the International Air Transport Association, Cozmo Travel is fully owned by Air Arabia and independently operates and offers all airline products and services. Launched in 2010, Cozmo Travel has established itself as one of the leading travel agencies in the UAE and GCC, having over 60 branches all over the region. The Satwa branch is their 5th in Dubai.

The Satwa branch opened on Feb. 15.
