A male adult, whose serious lifestyle involves acting like a baby, said he is struggling in his professional life because employers do not find him wearing diapers at work well.
In a report by Metro.co.uk, Damien Turner, 28, said he has been wearing diapers all day for the past 10 years, noting that he has been a part of the adult baby diaper lover community (ABDL) for that long.
He added that he is passionate about acting like a baby because it helps him get relaxed and feel safe.
“Dressing and acting like a baby gives off a very calm, relaxing, safe vibe. It’s almost as if you were back in preschool without a worry in the world,” he said in an interview with Metro.co.uk. “Diapers are very convenient, comfortable, and cute. It’s a very nice lifestyle and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.”
However, Turner said this is causing him problems in terms of his career, noting that he has been let go several times for being childish and wearing nappies at work.
He used to work in the catering industry as a service coordinator. He said that his bosses felt uncomfortable with his baby lifestyle, a reason he gets constantly fired.
“Employment is hard. I’m constantly in and out of jobs. Sometimes my employers find my pictures online or just can’t put up with the fact I’m wearing a diaper and acting childish in the workplace,” said the adult baby, who noted that he has lost friends because of his lifestyle.
His ABDL community, he stressed, is the only one who helped him feel at home with acting like a baby.
Turner said has been wearing diapers since he was 16 because, lying to his parents about having an incontinence problem—or loss of bladder control—just so he can wear them all day.
“Eventually, I told them the truth. My parents don’t really mind at all, I’ve never had a problem with them when it came to my lifestyle,” he added.
