The UAE Ministry of Defence and Abu Dhabi Police, through the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, finalized 36 contracts worth Dh25.455 billion during the 19th Dubai Airshow 2025, including major procurements of aircraft, drones, and defense systems.
On the final day of the five-day exhibition, nine new contracts totaling Dh1.012 billion were announced, comprising six local deals worth Dh544.675 million and three international agreements valued at Dh467.913 million.
Local contracts included aircraft purchases and a Grand Control Station from M4 Trading worth Dh219.27 million combined, a Dh76 million drone procurement with Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments (ADASI), a Dh154.5 million supply contract with MP3 for pilot and aerial rescue equipment, a Dh65.905 million aerial drop systems deal with International Golden Group, and a Dh29 million maintenance agreement with Al Taif Technical Services for cooling systems and power generators.
International deals included two contracts with Lockheed Martin totaling Dh247.551 million for technical support, maintenance, and spare parts for portable devices and aircraft simulators, and a Dh220.362 million agreement with Raytheon for friendly force identification systems.
Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi, spokesperson for the Tawazun Council, said the contracts reflect the UAE’s strategic vision to develop a sustainable and integrated defense ecosystem, enhance local capabilities, and support high-value national projects in defense, aviation, and space.
The Tawazun Council serves as the national authority responsible for enabling, regulating, and sustaining the UAE’s defense and security industrial sector, strengthening collaboration between public agencies and private industry.
