Due to water accumulation caused by heavy to moderate rainfall, the Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) in Dubai shared through social media platform X at 6:00 a.m. some alternative routes that motorists can pass through.
These are the following:
- Those who are heading towards Abu Dhabi may use Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road.
- Those who are coming from Abu Dhabi or any nearby area may use Seih Shuaib St. towards Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Rd. and Emirates Road
Traffic_update: Road diversion at Sheikh Zayed Rd. In Jebel Ali area due to the water accumulation, please use the following alternative routes to reach your destinations:

Along with traffic diversion updates, RTA also reminds the public to follow the safety tips for driving during rainy weather.
