Senator Bong Go revealed that former President Rodrigo Duterte slipped and fell in his room in a minor accident.
The incident was revealed by his longtime aide and incumbent Senator Bong Go said on Saturday.
The 78 year-old was accompanied by the senator, for a medical checkup at Davao Doctors Hospital on Friday.
“Aksidenteng nadulas sa kuwarto ng kanyang bahay si dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, kaya naman sinamahan siya ni Senador Bong Go sa Davao Doctors Hospital nitong Biyernes, November 3, para magpa-check-up,” Go said.
“Salamat sa Diyos, ok naman ang X-ray ni Tatay Digong,” he added.
The senator said no complications resulted from the accident.
He also posted photos of Duterte at the hospital.
The senator also thanked the medical frontliners for their service and sacrifice.
