The First Arab spacewalk in history is scheduled to take place on April 28 to be conducted by Sultan AlNeyadi.
In a Tweet posted on Sunday, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) said the spacewalk is expected to last around 6.5 hours outside the International Space Station (ISS).
“It will include retrieval of a Radio Frequency Group unit which will be returned to Earth,” the MBRSC stated on the video.
“It also covers preparations for the solar array installation of Extravehicular Activities,” it added.

The UAE will become the 10th country globally to perform spacewalks outside the ISS.
AlNeyadi will take part of the 262nd spacewalk in support of assembly, maintenance, and upgrades on the space station.
