RTA Dubai states that the service between the Equiti and Jebel Ali Metro Stations are back to normal after a technical fault as of 7:26 am, UAE time.

Around 7:00 am of January 20, hundreds of passengers were asked to disembark the train due to a technical fault.
In the interim, RTA Dubai provided alternative buses to help passengers arrive at their destinations.
Dubai Metro Red line users, we inform you that the metro service between Equiti Station and jabal ali Station has been affected by a technical fault, alternative buses has been provided between both stations. We thank you for your understanding.
