The Israeli government has announced that its willing to give benefits to undocumented and illegally residing Filipinos who would voluntarily leave the country.
“Please be informed that Filipino citizens who are illegally residing/overstaying in Israel, and who wish to return to the Philippines voluntarily, may avail of repatriation and reintegration benefits,” the Philippine Embassy in Israel said in an advisory.

The government said that it is closely working with Israel’s Population, Immigration, and Border Authority (PIBA) to help undocumented Filipinos.
The Voluntary Repatriation Program will receive airport assistance and livelihood development assistance, among others.

In a message to GMA News, the Department of Foreign Affairs said that they are still awaiting final details for the repatriation program.
“The Philippine Embassy is awaiting final details about this Israeli initiative,” the DFA said.
