A man received a seven years’ imprisonment for cutting a dog owner’s hand over an altercation on the animal’s sale in Dubai.
The police said the victim had posted an advertisement on social media to sell his dog following which the accused expressed his interest to buy it before requesting to check the animal.

They agreed to meet at the victim’s house where his daughter refused to sell the dog which however infuriated the accused leading to a physical fight.
The victim’s palm was cut when the accused used a knife against him. The accused admitted to assaulting the victim during the argument.
