A new digitization plan for the courts of Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) has been approved.
This is part of a three-year plan that includes setting up an international digital economy court to speed up resolution of disputes related to emerging technologies.

A new center for the deposit of wills in the United Arab Emirates will be launched by DIFC, besides the Digital Will Management System as part of DIFC Courts Strategic Work Plan 2022-24 approved by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and President of the DIFC.
Specialized departments in the field of intellectual property, virtual courts and courts for blockchain technologies will also be set up.
Sheikh Maktoum said under the new Strategic Work Plan DIFC Courts will “shape the new dynamics of global dispute resolution.”
