H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honored H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to making Expo 2020 Dubai a success.
Under H.H. Sheikh Saif’s watch, security and safety was maintained throughout the Expo.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council; and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, attended the awarding ceremony.
The Vice President stressed that the efforts of H.H. Sheikh Saif and his strong contributions to the success of events organised in the country reflect his dedication to serving the nation and represent a great example to follow.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter, “He [Sheikh Saif bin Zayed] played a great role behind the scenes in supporting the success of the Expo and supporting the success of the Summit. He deserves honor from the people of the Emirates.
“The summit will move to new heights next year, God willing.”
