Abandoned vehicle owners in Abu Dhabi advised to pay fees or face legal action

Owners of abandoned vehicles in Abu Dhabi City multi-story parking buildings and Musaffah parking lot M18 have been advised to pay outstanding dues.

The authorities in Abu Dhabi warned car owners to pay fees to avoid legal action.

Owners who abandoned or parked vehicles for more than a month have been told to clear the outstanding fees, as per reports from Khaleej Times.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) at the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi informed owners to contact the administration of the public parking at the trucks parking yard and the main control room of the multi-story parking to pay fees.

The ITC reportedly cautioned motorists against abandoning vehicles warning of legal actions including the sale of vehicles in an auction on expiry of a notice period.
