A Boeing 737 plane carrying 133 people crashed in Guangxi, a southern region in China on Monday, March 21.
Chinese state media reported that a fire is visible in the crash site.
Casualties remain unknown but rescuerss are now on their way to the mountainous area.
Earlier, a China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 from Kunming to Guangzhou went missing.
