Oman has made COVID-19 double vaccination mandatory for foreigners travelling into the Sultanate.
According to Oman’s Supreme Committee, which is tasked with tackling developments related to the pandemic, a decision to apply two-dose vaccination is now a prerequisite for entry of non-Omanis aged 18 and above at points of entry.
The Supreme Committee reaffirmed that vaccination remains a condition to enter public and private establishments.
Meanwhile, the decision that bans entry of arrivals from certain countries listed previously, namely South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini and Mozambique was cancelled.
