A 40-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was found dead by her recruitment agency in Malate, Manila on Wednesday. September 22.
P/Lt. Adonis Aguila, Manila Police District – homicide section chief said in an Abante report that the OFW identified as Lorena Macayan was set to leave the country in the next three days.
The body was discovered at around 9am by the agency on the fourth floor of the agency’s building.
She was last seen the night before Wednesday when staff gave her food.
The body was brought to a funeral home for an autopsy to find out the cause of death.
