The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has lifted the ban on the entry of tourists and will allow visit visa holders from August 1.
Fully vaccinated tourists can enter the Kingdom without having to go for an institutional quarantine period after presenting an official vaccination certificate and proof of a negative PCR test of 72 hours on their arrival in the country, said Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Saudi visitors are also required to register their data related to vaccination doses on the new electronic portal in addition to filling in their data through the Tawakkalna application. The application will allow tourists to enter public places if they are fully vaccinated.
The vaccines approved in the Kingdom are: Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and single dose of Johnson & Johnson.

Ahmed Al-Khatib, Saudi Tourism Minister said, that the country welcomes the tourists and was “very happy to receive the Kingdom’s guests again after a pause due to the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic.” (AW)
