Motorists can now register new vehicles directly through car agencies in Sharjah – thanks to the Sharjah Police General Directorate recently launching a new licensing and registration service in this regard.

The new service has been introduced to facilitate vehicle licensing procedures for all motorists by saving them time and effort, said Lt. Colonel Khalid Mohamed Al Kai, Director of the Vehicle and Drivers Licensing Department, Sharjah.

The Sharjah Police has also given Sharjah-based car agencies the authority to register vehicles for individuals and institutions without referring to service centers, by logging in the federal licensing program on the website of the Ministry of Interior (MOI).

The database for the unified connection of electronic services includes vehicle insurance, mortgage, and technical inspection; which will facilitate the rapid completion of the transaction, elimination of paper documents, and also saves time and effort in the vehicle licensing process.
