Renowned journalist Doris Bigornia has been rushed again to the hospital following a suspected infection, according to her daughter Nikki Bigornia.
Bigornia’s ailment was announced on social media by her daughter, who said that the awarded broadcast journalist was taken to the hospital after contracting the infection.

The journalist had just returned to work recently after taking a three-month break following triple heart bypass surgery early this year alongside regular dialysis due to kidney failure.
She had expressed happiness at working from home and was looking forward to her work in TV Patrol, Patrol, ABS-CBN’s flagship news program.

On December 21, 2017, she had been injured along with several others in a car accident when another vehicle suddenly crashed into her news car in the EDSA-Shaw underpass.
Bigornia has won numerous awards for her journalism skills and is considered to be one of ABS-CBN’s most highly-regarded broadcasters. (AW)
