An investigation is underway for a fire that hit a residential building in Abu Dhabi that left two people injured.
Authorities confirmed two injuries were recorded in a blaze that engulfed a 12-storey building in Al Mamoura.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence dispatched firetrucks and teams immediately upon receiving reports about the fire.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Amri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, said roads were closed, traffic was diverted and residents were quickly evacuated from the building.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Al Amri added.
Meanwhile, businesses were urged to comply with health and safety regulations. (RA)
