Abu Dhabi is eyeing to lift Covid-19 quarantine restrictions for international travelers beginning July 1along with plans to relax restrictions on a number of tourism activities to boost the tourism sector in the emirate.
The move will expand the emirate’s green travel list, which enables travelers coming from the listed destinations to travel to Abu Dhabi sans quarantine.
“How we are going to move forward in 2021 … Abu Dhabi will be open for everyone with no quarantine protocol starting from July 1,” Ali Al Shaiba, executive director of tourism and marketing at the emirate’s Department of Culture and Tourism, told The National.
