Fil-Am teen dies in Washington gun attack

A 16-year-old Filipino-American was shot dead by an unknown gunman at his Rainier Beach home in Seattle, Washington.

The victim was identified as Earl Estrella. He was shot on April 23 at 9200 Block of Waters Avenue South just before 11:00 PM according to a report by the Northwest Asian Weekly.

Eyewitnesses said that Estrella was shot multiple times before the suspect escaped the crime scene.

“For those of you who knew and loved Earl, this news is absolutely devastating as he was only 16 years old and was a kind and sweet person,” said Daisy Ganal, Estrella’s aunt and godmother.

A Go Fund Me website was set up to gather donations for Estrella’s funeral expenses.

“Any amount is greatly appreciated and if you cannot donate at this time, sharing this post will also go a long way,” Ganal said.

The Seattle police are currently investigating the crime. (TDT)
